…lucky enough: today was a snow day…
i always have the thought that our boys’ will sleep in on snow days…but not the case this morning…both boys’ went to bed knowing that the snow was to continue to fall all night long, so when they heard me bustling around the house at 5:45am…BOING they were up…i attempted to coax them back to bed with me saying that i was going to go back to bed for a little bit…but i couldn’t sleep…it is a SNOW DAY…i was just as excited as they were! i finally whispered to them to just get up instead of tossing and turning…both boys’ stared outside & couldn’t believe their eyes…all that snow! the boys’ wanted to go out and play at 6:45a.m.~really?~i convinced them to wait for it to be a little more light outside…fortunately i got them to eat a little breakfast before tackling all that white stuff! it was a beautiful day…a magical day…a day that had two little boys’ smiling, creating, adventuring, sharing, working & most of all loving all that wonderful clean white stuff!!!!!
Keegan took a video using his iPod Nano of Rohnan doing a front flip off the side of the truck…oh boy…we are in trouble!

Every year my boys ask if we think it will snow. About every other year it does and stays only a day. Last March it snowed all day on a Saturday and they were thrilled. They would be in heaven if they had a day like you guys had! If there is any snow at all this year I am promising myself to go out and play this time instead of cooking inside.
