it is amazing how quickly people generously GIVE…
it is not easy for keegan.
he is already asking to wake up and have the cast gone–oh dear we have 4-6 more weeks of this!
fortunately…he has mad libs to do, gift cards to spend, words to search for, LED finger lights to help him see his way, kindle books to delve into, cookies to eat, dvd’s to watch, popcorn to eat for the next month, magazines to read, comic books to giggle at, puzzles to put together…and as always inspirational words to re-read from all of you! keegan is thankful for his support system…and we are thankful for all of you keeping his spirits up!
keegan went from a soft wrap around his cast to the fun cast tape the dr. put on on friday! everything is healing well…and as keegan said, “It really is broken!”…i suppose there was a wee bit of hope that he didn’t break it…always an optimist!
keegan and i will be spending some time puzzling…and eating some gourmet popcorn from the nana & the papa!

At least YOU didn’t break his leg like I broke Andrew’s ankle. UGH… One day before summer camp. One of the worst days of my life (and it still brings tears when I think about it) and you were there to witness it. Gonna be a tough Christmas as well. So sorry. Love Unkle Dean
thanks uncle dean…he is totally figuring things out with the crutches and managing his pain…it is a good time of year to slow down…but still hard! and i totally remember that incident with andrew…that was so sad…that was our excuse for not having a trampoline for a long time…giggle…and now look at us…we have one of those round things hanging in our backyard!
accidents happen…it is life!!!
Wow, poor Keegan!!! The way time flies he will be all healed before you know it. I know he must be bummed having to sit and stay in. But the puzzles and games sound good to me! Hope your guy gets better every day.
Love the new cast & looks like a great puzzle to put together. We usually do puzzles here during the holidays but with two little guys running around with grabby little fingers, we may have to fore go that one this year!
